Hi my name is Desirae! I’m going on The World Race we are in our first country Kenya! Wow it has been quite the first week! I have made lots of new friends and connections with the people that help serve at training camp and also my squad mates!! The Lord is working in mighty ways over this past week. From fruitful conversations with a friend who happened to be there making a lot of new friends! Nothing like starting to meet everyone on day one as strangers and then by end of week one not wanting to be separated! We all have the heart posture of yes send me and picking up that cross every day!

A lot of internal reflection of who the Father is to me and who he says I am! They did a lot of training over the week looking at Identity, culture differences, in preparation to prepare our get us ready to spread the gospel whole heartedly!! The they had some of the best worship that I have been to where the Holy Spirit meets people right where they are. There was a revival night that had the people moved and we worked through some of the enemies lies he has used over the years. Some people have asked what’s next in this season and after the truth is  I’m going lifting my hands up and saying here I am use me for my hands and feet!

One of the speakers at training camp was talking about picking up and choosing to carry your cross. That’s what I’m doing picking up my cross and continuing to say yes to whatever he may bring my way in this next year. I’m expectant in what he has. I’m in a role as a worship coordinator for my team when we are split into smaller groups. That gives me the opportunity to set the tone and bring it back to God every time! The one verse that the lord is Isaiah 61 (1-3) The little top before reading says the year or the Lords favor. I think that says something in and over its self. That’s all I have for right now I’m sure you will hear from me soon! Trust the Lord in all the you do every step you take! He will show up and change your prospective in more ways then you could ever think or imagine!
